Be Somebody!

Mary Crowley has always inspired me . Her earlier years were spent as an orphan and and as she grew up , in her quest for safety and security , she married. Unfortunately the happiness did not last long well . She got divorced with two young children to feed . And all this during the greatest depression times of the 1930's and 1940's.

But even during these difficult times , like a good christian , she always put aside 10% of her income for the welfare of poor and her contribution to the Church . She cut everything to bare minimum to have that 10% God's fund .

Her rent, her groceries, her housekeeping expenses, her travel by bus to workplace and church - she squeezed everything . On Christmas, she hardly ever had any money to buy something great for her children .

Mary Crowley in one of her books ,"You Can Too"shares an anecdote when she visited the church during the prayer meeting .

She shares that how one of the preachers at the church  kept pounding the table and raised the pitch vociferously sharing a thought , 

" Be Somebody! 

God never takes time to build a nobody . Everybody God creates is created to be SOMEBODY".

Mary shares further that the message was so inspirational and got impregnated in her mind .And she has passed on this message to thousands of people whom she came across . 

"Be 'Somebody' . God never takes time to create a 'nobody' ".

Just think, ponder and create a David out of yourself, to beat the Goliath . 

Think Bigger, Better, Bolder, Beyond and Before anybody else. Be SOMEBODY .
