Some topics are just “unsexy”

Coaching, consulting, and speaking to help nonprofit consultants shake off the “shoulds”, drop the scarcity hangover from the nonprofit sector, and find abundance in entrepreneurship. Fractional Fundraising Movement.
Let’s face it,
When I sat down to write this email about today’s podcast episode, the first thing I thought was, this is so “unsexy”.
You see, we’re talking about impact measurement.
It’s one of those topics that everyone knows they need to know more about, but don’t often take the time to learn. Or it can feel like it requires a huge investment of time and money to get it right.
I also hear from organizations that their work is so long-term and systemic that it’s almost impossible to measure their impact.
So today, we’re diving into the “unsexy” but important conversation around how to get started with impact measurement, EVEN if you don’t have a lot of time and resources.
At the end of the day, the stronger your measurement, the more you’re able to secure funding, keep track of your mission, adjust your programs, and get closer to changing the world.
Keep up the good work,
Cindy

1 年Thanks for the opportunity, Cindy to talk about this important topic (as unsexy as it may be ??). I assure you though, compelling stories of impact can definitely hit, and so worth it if you want to change hearts and minds.

1 年Love this Cindy. There are plenty of things in life that fall under "unsexy" - but they often are those critical pieces of work that stop up next steps.
