Some teams pull together. Some teams don't.

Let’s unpack that statement a bit.
Are you a team in name alone? Or do you actually act like one?
Let’s put business aside for a minute. Let's talk about a team that really pulls together: my wife and I.
We get what we're both trying to accomplish, and we get it relatively quickly. And if I see her slipping or if she sees me slipping, we pick it up and there's no talking. There's no whatever.?
The satisfaction is in getting the goal accomplished. Not what I did versus what you did versus whatever.?
That's a team pulling together.
Now, a team in name alone is more like, we're in a position where the goal will boost us and we're all disproportionately trying to take that boost for ourselves.
For example, if you're doing a team project and you are the one not doing the work, but you take credit for the work. That's not a team.?
That imbalance could probably end up breaking the team, if I’m being honest.
