1. Flow marks and patterns on the surface of aluminum alloy die castings

On the surface of the casting, there are stripes consistent with the flow direction of the metal liquid, there are obviously non-directional lines that are different from the color of the metal substrate, and there is no development trend.

2. The aluminum alloy die casting is cracked

The surface of the aluminum alloy die casting has bulges or pits like reticular hair on the surface, which continuously expands and extends as the number of die casting increases.

3. Cold insulation lines

The surface of aluminum alloy die casting has obvious, irregular, and sunken linear patterns with small and narrow shapes, and sometimes the edges of the transition are smooth, and there is a possibility of disconnection under the action of external forces.

4. Dent marks on the surface of aluminum alloy die castings

There are smooth dents on most of the thick surface of the die casting.

5. Surface marks

Traces left on the surface of the aluminum alloy die casting part which in contact with the surface of the die casting mold cavity or step marks on the surface of the casting.

6. There are traces of adherence on aluminum alloy die castings

The small pieces and the metal or non-metal and metal base parts are welded, and the small pieces are peeled off under the action of external force. Some of the cast surfaces after the peeling are shiny and some are dark gray.

7. Cracks in aluminum alloy die castings

When the aluminum alloy die casting is placed in an alkaline solution, the cracks are dark gray. The destruction and cracking of the metal substrate is straight or wavy, and the texture is narrow and long. It has a development trend under the action of external forces.
