Deepening digital rights and digital inclusion in Africa
Digital Rights and Inclusion Forum set for Accra, Ghana
Paradigm Initiative (PIN), working with the following partner organisations, @E-Governance and Internet Governance Foundation for Africa (EGIGFA), University of Media, Arts and Communication- Institute of Journalism, Media Foundation for West Africa, Inclusive Tech Group, Internet Society (ISOC) Ghana Chapter and Human Security Research Centre (HSRC) will soon host the Digital Rights and Inclusion Forum (DRIF) in Accra, Ghana. The event kicks off on ?April 23rd and ends on April 25th, 2024, under the theme, Fostering Rights and Inclusion in the Digital Age, and brings together representatives from government, legislature, civil society, non-governmental organisations, academia, policymakers, technical community, and the private sector within the digital ecosystem.?
Pre-DRIF Survey
Ahead of the event, PIN is keen to hear thoughts about the sessions, and participants' expectations in general. In this regard, we have put together a survey that can be completed here. We are looking forward to receiving your responses by Friday, April 19th, 2024 Close of Business (CoB).

Connected Africa Summit set for Nairobi from April 21st-25th, 2024
The Connected Africa Summit is set to take place at Uhuru Gardens in Nairobi, Kenya, between April 21st and April 25th, 2024. It will be hosted by Kenya's Ministry of Information and Communications and the Digital Economy, and the Kenya ICT Authority. The Summit, which is a premier event focused on advancing digital transformation across Africa, brings together Heads of State, Ministers of ICT, senior government leaders, CEOs, investors, and experts from various sectors to discuss strategies for leveraging the digital economy for development, aligning with the African Union's Agenda 2063.
