One of the most common mistakes 90% of my clients make is focusing too much on sales and how much is in their account
When you are making your entire business about the numbers you bring in, you are missing out on what is really important and it is HIGHLY likely (and quite ironic) that you are not reaching your goals because you’re focusing on sales
Truth is, it's way easier to reach your goals than you think, without all the overwhelm and worry, AND you can do it while having a ton of fun and plan vacations along the way.... If you’re only focusing on sales you'll likely have some other mindset stuff that you'll need to address. More on that later…
Here are 3 areas, in my opinion, you MUST fix so you can truly grow your business
1. Positioning
How you position yourself will determine the kind of clients you attract in the marketplace. More importantly, it will increase how you perceive yourself.
The simplest way to position is to get really clear on who your IDEAL client is and solve the biggest problem you possibly can for them, and then rinse and repeat. Go find more ideal clients with this problem and help them solve it.
Give a measurable metric in a fixed time frame and it will show people that you are confident and back yourself and will also give them confidence to work with you.
Most people are getting lost in the noise because they look like everyone else - STAND OUT!

2. Systems
Most people are looking at the wrong numbers when it comes to growing a business. They are looking at the lagging indicators (sales numbers) and not the leading indicators (funnel numbers, self education, personal growth, training, planning)
If you don't take the time to build out the systems to do the marketing for you, to streamline operations, to automate the sales process, you will never be in control. You will find yourself working from morning to night, cancelling vacations and being stuck in your business
Without a system to work for you, you'll be stuck
3. Consistency
We’ve all heard the term overnight success. But the truth is that overnight success takes years. It's the small, daily actions, taken consistently that lead to overnight success, from someone being unknown to becoming a sensation and no one has heard of them.
When you go back and look at the history, you see many failures, many attempts until they get it right. Its doing the things that suck until one day the dam wall breaks and the flood gates cant hold back the flow.
This is the key to it all - having a vision to strive towards, the plan to get there and the daily habits and actions for all areas of your life. Wealth, health, relationships, spirituality etc.
More often than not I find that when people are not successful they are focusing too much on the money and not the value they bring to themselves and then the world
