Some New Music For The New Year With Europe's Heartbeat

This month’s edition of?Europe’s Heartbeat?has premiered on?Radio Six International, which means it’s available to listen again on both the?Heartbeat website?or through?Mixcloud.

In the first week of January the charts and new release lists still have a high proportion of festive music, so there might be the occasional December release with a tinge of holiday sentiment. There are fewer songs from the various Top Ten charts around Europe, dominated as they are by either Mariah or Wham. I think there’s a worthwhile study in there to see if there’s any pattern as to why the public prefers one or the other in each country; which is something to look at come December.
