Some Media Outlets Just Never Learn!

I actually worked for CNN a short while as a broadcast engineer when they were first getting started.

I was proud to say that I worked for them at the time but wow how things changed in the direction they took.

Reliable worldwide news turned into left-wing, left leaning commentary. Later, Trump hating would seem to be the main focus of their broadcasts.

They had so much potential. They used to be a name with respect and was shown in most major airports across the United States.

I thought and hoped that a change in ownership and executive leadership would bring back the old CNN that I once knew.

When the Israel/Hamas fighting broke out, CNN at first seemed to be a good place for news and live coverage.

I found myself very disappointed to see that in very little time they were right back to Trump bashing and left-wing articles and commentary.

I had actually reloaded their app on my cellphone but only to remove it when I saw their twisted spin they were placing on current events.

It really is such a shame! They still have so much potential to OWN NEWS in a big way. The ability to be the number one trusted source for news worldwide. However, they have not learned from their past mistakes which is why FOX and other outlets have easily pulled ahead of them.

Obviously, having the ability to be great and becoming great are based on decisions. CNN has made all the wrong decisions over the years. Despite letting a few anchors like Don Lemon go, they continue to be headed in being number one as a left-wing very biased channel.

Fortunately, in this day and time, anyone with a smartphone and a social media app can share the news at their exact location. We just have to see if enough people are saying the same thing so we can determine its accuracy.

To this day, I really want CNN to be a trusted source for reliable news. Unfortunately, in my opinion, it is not!
