Some May news and updates

This May started with a #WomenBehindTheLens campaign, highlighting the stories of women photographers balancing their main occupations with their passion for photography. During the campaign dedicated to the 1st of May celebrating the achievements of working women across the globe we shared the stories of women photographers, who work as nurses, teachers, physical therapist, digital content creators and more. You can still see and read these stories on our Instagram account.

In Estonia we had some artivism activities during the residency for the Take pART! project, co-funded by EU. Together we created an art campaign dedicated to a multicultural town Narva. As part of the campaign we created stickers, a zine "Kasha", video and a mural.

During a process of painting a mural and "Kasha" zine.

Later in May we met the partner of the another EU project - WeLENS.

We would like to introduce a project by our partners D'Antilles & D'Ailleurs :

Voice of Freedom - a project integrated with Change Nickerie, focused on eliminating gender-based violence and human trafficking in Suriname, in Nickerie County, it aims to prevent domestic and gender-based violence, while providing better protection for affected women and children.
