Manage your existing leads better before you add more to a leaky funnel

Are you managing and handling your existing leads and opportunities as best as you can? I may argue that it's somewhat pointless spending all your resources chasing new business enquiries if you are letting your current opportunities with prospects or existing customers fall through a leaking bucket. I've been asking my clients about their prospect and customer journey. In many cases, we've made tweaks and tested different communication methods to the favoured email. How are you nurturing your opportunities from the awareness stage, through consideration to purchase, then delivery to retention, loyalty and advoacy? Can you do something today, this week, to improve your control on your process and improve your conversion to revenue by a x%? If you could, take action and do it today, as x% over a number of opportunities could be the equivilant of having to find yet another new enquiry with your marketing!

The foundation tactics of successful lead generation for many businesses. 1. Social media (organic and paid) 2. Great website with purpose (design, driving traffic to it) 3. List building (subscribers, lead magnets etc) 4. Direct mail (by post) 5. Email marketing 6. Google ads 7. Expo’s / Trade shows 8. Video 9. Influencers 10. Google business profile 11. Webinars 12. Joint Ventures 13. Networking (with a referral strategy) You have to invest your resources to not be the best kept secret. How are you building awareness and creating traction towards your business?

With the right, proactive, advice you may save yourself thousands in the long run. We often think about our risk mitigation, but it is also about creating a framework of trust with your stakeholders, your operational continuity and maintaining your competitive advantage in a landscape that is continually changing legally!

Don’t trust the word of your “friends” and I recommend you seek legal guidance to secure your interests.

From my experience, I know how people may have other agendas, not what they say, or they change priorities over a short period!
