1.     Discuss the underlying differences between the a vessel using DP system and a conventional vessel.

2.     Examine the ways to Improve vessel handling performance whilst on Joystick mode of operation.

3.     Categorise the information that should be readily available on HMI during different modes of operation.

4.     Differentiate WCFDI and WCF, and how it is used to prove a DP system.

5.     Application of various principles of redundancy in a DP system, give example.

6.     Evaluate the options available in the event all PRSs are lost during DP operation.

7.     Recognise the features of various PRSs least affected by vessel’s motion.

8.     Analyse the factors in the event PRSs do not work not in collective mode whereas work satisfactorily individually.

9.     Determine the factors at play if R-O is reset frequently and the definitive way to determine if vessel is maintaining station.

10.  Examine the effect of heading sensor error on various PRSs’ performance.

11.  Analyse the use of relative and absolute PRSs simultaneously in operation such as heavy lift.

12.  Discuss the additional precautions while using of different PRSs during diving operation.

13.  Examine various factors that may cause change in DP current, and likely response to counter the same.

14.  Determine the reasons if erratic wind speed and direction change is observed.

15.  Enumerate the factors that may result in model instability .

16.  Discuss the effect of incorrect draught input to the DP system.

17.  Elaborate different effects of heave in various mission-related operation.

18.  Prioritise various emergency responses if the vessel is operating blow-on.

19.  Prioritise various emergency responses if the time to safely terminate is long.

20.  Categorise different circumstances under which consequence analysis alarm triggers and emergency responses thereof.

21.  Select the safe location to carry out trials in an oil field.

22.  Identify the redundancy available to the vessel over and above the CAM requirement.

23.  Validate if the vessel will hold position post worst-case failure at the work site.

24.  Compare different conditions under which ‘loss of position’ of a vessel on DP may take place.

25.  Identify the conditions under which TAM may be chosen over CAM.

26.  Differentiate the requirement of PRSs and sensors  in CAM vs TAM.

27.  Discuss the closed/open status of the Bus Tie during DP class 2 and DP class 3 operations and its merit.

28.  Discuss the applicability of active and static components in DP class 2 & 3.

29.  Identify the factors and tools available to investigate a DP incident.

30.  Construct a risk scenario for a vessel engaged in pipe lay with ROV and diving operation close to a platform.

31.  Construct a risk scenario for a vessel engaged in diving operation in an anchor pattern.

32.  Discuss the use of DP controls during heavy lift operation.

Seems like you are looking for material to author a book with others input. I guess I will keep my knowledge for the guys who are paying me or for someone genuinely seeking a "not for profit" advice. I think rather than just posting your "queries" in a post, one should give his side of input to start off a discussion.
