What's going on????

Despite record-breaking admission figures in April,?June has been quite a slow month for French cinema operators, despite the start of the yearly Fête du Cinéma, whereby tickets are sold at a much lower rate.?

What does this mean????

While this time time period has historically been a bit of a lull when it comes to cinema attendance in France,?it's of note to recognize that major U.S. blockbusters failed to meet their projected levels of success, with titles like? The Flash?barely meeting the 1M admission mark. With all this in mind, it means French cinema operators need to think of a way to entice viewers during this relatively calm period.?

What to expect????

In the face of this relatively slow period, the summer months are upon us, and the Winter and Fall seasons to follow carry with them some major releases, including several Cannes 2023 favorites such as this year's Palme D'Or winner.?So, while attendance is still shaky, experts are fairly certain that everything is headed in the right direction overall.?
