SoME completes two years!

And just like that, we turned two! On November 20, School of Meaningful Experiences will celebrate its second birthday. I still recall the email - certificate of the incorporation - that came knocking on my inbox on the cold November morning precisely two years ago. After days of research, planning, and hours-long meetings, our little venture finally took its first baby steps. I am immensely grateful to almighty God, my family, co-founders, shareholders, investors, colleagues, partners, learners, friends, supporters and well-wishers who have been by my side all along.

SoME is growing up to be a chirpy and vibrant little enterprise. We offer a gamut of programmes that validates our core SIX Cs philosophy. Our programmes reach out to different age groups: pre-teens (nine to 12 years), teens (13 to 17 years), college students (18 to 21 years), working professionals and company executives (21 to 30 years), and senior managers and leaders (up to 45 years). We offer these programmes directly or through partnerships with other organisations. In September this year, we turned a corner and became profitable, a challenging task to achieve during these unprecedented COVID times. Here is a snapshot from one of our recent programme that we launched for working professionals at a leading corporate organization.

In 2019, we graduated 22 learners and had only one programme aimed for teenagers. As we close our Academic Year 2020 in December, SoME would have graduated more than 240 learners from four different programmes all rooted in the SIX Cs principle. We also hosted talks, workshops and webinars and interacted with more than 10,000 students, parents, and professionals. Next year looks exciting as we are all set to launch two new programmes, and hope to touch the lives of 1,000 learners. 

We are now a team of 12 members working from five different cities around the world, with Bengaluru as our headquarters, and are looking for candidates who love to teach, guide and mentor learners. We run an intensive apprentice programme to train our faculty on the Six Cs philosophy. Besides this, we are also looking out for candidates who can foster business partnerships with other institutions and organisations. If you would love to join our small team, please apply here.
