For some, being good is not good enough.

This article could be about an entrepreneur in Hong Kong who produces New York quality bagels. It could also be about a woman who created a successful company which was driven by her passion (She really likes bagels). Instead, this is an example of how energy and determination moves Good to Great.

We held a networking event called Finance Live! It was a 6 hour concert and networking event where band members are employed in the finance industry. 300 people attended and profits were donated to the charity, Suits for Success. Rebecca Schrage, founder of Schragels Bagels, donated bagels and bags of bagel chips (Schrackers) to sell at the event. That was good. As you can imagine, people were focused on the music, drinking and mingling with friends. The bagel chips weren't selling. That was bad and was not sitting well with Rebecca. What she did was turn good into great. She borrowed a tray and worked the crowd, cajoling them to take some Schrackers home and help the charity. I told her I was impressed with her drive. She said, "I have no shame, I am selling these to raise money for charity."

She sold them all. Great.
