- Document :?List down all problems at hands or task you are supposed to solve/ handle on a program management tool like Asana.
- Quantize :?Divide?those problems into smaller problems understanding interconnections.
- Study?and brainstorm how a smaller problem is affected or input / output of that problem.
- Understand why,what,who,where?(W-Questions)?of the problem statement.
- Benchmarking:?Quickly research how others might have solved the same issue
- Solution:?Develop an action plan to tackle the issue and define steps - subtasks on Asana about the same.
- Schedule:?Put dates on various tasks - subtasks , prioritise according to urgency , decide what tasks need immediate attention hence current sprint or next sprint.
- Seek help?in sub-tasks where you think others can help execute faster or they might have solved already.
- Delegate :?Senior team mates are bound to have more tasks than they personally can handle , hence delegate tasks to your reportees where you are confident they can deliver. Effective delegation for large team 20%-80% , 20% self - 80% delegated. 20% is the task either too important or too complex to be delegated. 20% = 90% of personal bandwidth.
- Report:?Inform dependents of task early if you are facing issue in meeting timelines.
- Keep Track: Us Humans tend to forget. Hence , revisit plans , check tasks , organise , re-calibrate and hence stay updated on your committed tasks and timelines. Use 9-9:30am time to peacefully plan your day, update Asana and Standup ( On Slack) .
