[Solved] Outlook for Mac Not Syncing with Exchange Server

Outlook Mac is an email client that configures the mail account within Exchange Server.

Syncing for Mac Outlook with Exchange Server is relatively one of the common problems. Besides this, it can be fixed with ease. Here, I am going to discuss different solutions to fix the blunder when your Outlook for Mac not syncing with Exchange Server. Before the solutions, let’s have a look at the possible reasons for this Mac Outlook synchronization issue,

  • Synchronization settings are not accurately configured.
  • Due to the exploitation of Outlook cache
  • It might be due to an improper connection with the performing MS Exchange Server.
  • Due to Offline Mode in Mac Outlook.
  • Corrupt or inaccessible OLM data file of Mac Outlook.

Now, let’s explore the most critical methods that can help to fix this issue:

1. Check For Work Online

It is the most common reason that can create this issue. Before moving towards any other possible method make sure that your Outlook is working in Online Mode. If it is in Offline mode then, turn it into Online mode. To do so follow the below-mentioned instructions:

  • Open your Outlook.
  • Then, go to the Menu option.
  • Here, if selected in Work Offline then, unselect it.

2. Check for Exchange Server Connectivity

  • Open your Mac Outlook application, and proceed to Tools then Accounts.

  • First, exit from Mac Outlook and its associated applications.
  • Then, go to the system C drive and copy the Identities folder or Mac Outlook to another destination from C drive.
  • Now, begin the In-built Microsoft Database application by pressing the Alt key and Outlook application icon collectively.
  • Here, In the opened application, choose the Identity for rebuild and later tap on the Rebuild option.
  • Finally, the rebuilding of the chosen identity file will get started, and it will complete instantly.

5. Sync Service Agent by Restarting

  • First, close the Mac Outlook application.
  • Then, navigate to Applications>Utilities>Activity Monitor.

6. Re-indexing Mac Outlook Application
