Working remotely from any US location may also be considered. The IT Direct to Consumer Architect will provide IT strategy and solution guidance (process, data, technology) to business partners predominantly focusing on establishing new B2C Commerce and Fulfillment capabilities.
- Defines, owns, and executes an Enterprise B2C Ecommerce IT Capability Plan aligned with the broader IT strategy
- Partners closely with Sales and Marketing IT Leader, Platform Leader, Cx Business and Divisional Business areas to establish a B2C Ecommerce roadmap and align on shared goals.
- Able to serve as technical governance for third-party development efforts.
- Knowledge of ecommerce technologies and tactics, especially in experience management, product information management (PIM), digital asset management (DAM), mobile device management (MDM) software, as well as programmatic marketing approaches, operational reporting and analytics
- Knowledge of marketing automation software and its relationship to customer journey mapping
- Understands how to measure ecommerce business performance through a variety of metrics, OKRs, and KPIs, including share of search, product page performance, brand compliance across retailer channels, sales rank, and more
- Develops site architecture, optimizes processes, and supports the brand ecommerce ecosystem
- Understands what would need to be built in order to sustain an ecommerce platform, including software integrations and merchant and retailer relationships
- Understands strengths and weaknesses in system architecture, anticipating vulnerabilities and developing contingency plans
- Experience with ecommerce software platforms; and how it integrates with Supply Chain Capabilities (e.g. Pricing, Inventory/Availability, Order Management, Fulfilment & Logistics)
Qualifications - External
- Bachelors’ degree in Computer Science or a minimum of 10 years’ experience in system design and software development life cycle
- Minimum 5 years of experience in implementing direct to consumer and “B2C” Ecommerce platforms and supporting digital marketing capabilities
- Experience with Big Commerce, Klaviyo, SAP B1, Adyen, Adobe Digital Asset Management, Salsify, Contentful, and AWS integration services enabling headless B2C commerce
- Experience working in agile methodologies and scrum framework
- Willingness to travel 10%
