SOLUTION TO THE SOUTH AFRICAN LOCKDOWN SCHOOLING AND TERTIARY EDUCATION CRISIS. BY FUTURIST BELINDA SILBERT:

1.) South Africa to adopt the American and European school year, i.e to begin in September 2020 and to use any early return to school after lockdown for revision.

2.) To end the school year in June 2021 (although this is in our Winter months) and to retain our December summer holidays but shorten them significantly.

In this way, no student will be compromised educationally and most importantly of all, our matriculants will have the best chance to shine without unnecessary additional stress
