A Solution to Find Your Saved Linkedin Posts

A Solution to Find Your Saved Linkedin Posts

When searching for jobs on LinkedIn, you may want to save positions of interest to come back to later.

LinkedIn conveniently provides a “????????” button, just beside the “??????????” button, which allows you to do so in one click.

Perhaps I'm not great at working through LinkedIn's navigation? Perhaps I'm alone in wishing there was a quick way to find the posts I've bookmarked on LinkedIn?

I like to thumb through LinkedIn in spare moments and save the posts I want to listen to, watch, or read when I've got some time, rather than consume them instantly. It's easy to see the like, comment, share and send buttons on a post, but if I want to 'save' it for later, I have to know to look behind the dots in the top right corner of each post. It'd be much easier to have the save icon and action alongside the other actions on a post.

? Once I've saved an item, finding it again is a whole other matter which seems to send me on a quest behind my profile. Even the action and icons for saving posts to return to are different.

To save something for later is a white bookmark that you 'save', but to return to something saved, it becomes a filled bookmark called 'My Items' that contains jobs, courses and articles. It's only when I'm in that section - that at last I can see those precious saved posts.

? Is it just me, or would anyone else like to bookmark things and find them again a little more easily and consistently here on LinkedIn?

- Here's how to find your bookmarks (LinkedIn move this around, this is current as of 5 April 2023):

?? ????????????/?????????????? ??????????????:

?Click your profile picture in the top right with 'Me' below it and choose 'view profile'.

?On your profile page, scroll to find your 'Resources' section (you can choose where this is in your profile, so you might need to scroll up/down until you find it).

?At the bottom of the 'Resources' section you'll find a 'See all 5 resources' - click that link to see all the resources.

?'My Items' is where your bookmarked content is kept.

?To the left of the list of content you should see 'my jobs', 'my learning' and 'saved posts' - your bookmarked content will be in the 'saved posts' section where you can see all content types, or, if you only want to see saved articles, you can click 'articles' at the top to see only articles.

?Remember to choose the '...' to the top left of any article you've read but no longer want to keep and choose 'unsave' from the menu. This avoids a never ending save list.

Finding where posts are saved isn't the challenge... it's finding the post I saved six months ago. Have to scroll sequentially through the hundreds or thousands I've saved since then. Is there any way to go straight to a date or some other search/review functionality?

How do we download pics and memes?
