Solution Architect

We are looking for a Solution Architect for our team currently working in the software industry delivering cutting-edge solutions to retailers.

As a Solution Architect you will be responsible for defining the requirements and develop an optimum solution design (end to end) for subsequent developments aligned with the Target Digital Architectures strategy. You will lead and facilitate the project design activities working closely with the Project team – Business Analysts, and Delivery Teams. You will also collaborate with Technical Architects and Senior Developers on the selection of appropriate design patterns and define realistic and ambitious implementation roadmaps.

Job Responsibilities:

·???????Analyze business requirements and technology environment of the client and propose the overall solution design and architecture in line with the solution's standards and principles;

·???????Design and set up the appropriate technical infrastructure to support the solution decisions;

·???????Overview the teams' work?to ensure solution deployment according to specifications and technical constraints;?

·???????Support the delivery/engagement managers in order to successfully complete the project;

·???????Cloud architecture experience; primarily AWS & Azure;

·???????Assist with solving technical problems when they arise.

Expertise required:

·???????5 years+ of working experience on complex projects as a enterprise or solution architect;

·???????Excellent knowledge of data & integration including event driven architectures,?web services etc.;?

·???????Excellent knowledge of AWS and/or Azure;?

·???????Good knowledge of Atlassian suite and Salesforce a bonus;

·???????Ability to create a vision and strategy for the architecture but also execute on this strategy;

·???????Knowledge of non-functional aspects of IT Architecture (Performance, Resilience, Availability, Security etc.);?

·???????Solid knowledge of best practices, processes and tools required to support a successful SDLC and CI/CD process;

·???????Advanced English language knowledge.

·??????Good communication skills (written /verbal);

·??????Ability to operate at own initiative with a pro-active attitude;

·??????Ability to liaise with a broad range of people, including line management, senior management, external suppliers and related people;

·??????Problem solving ability and strong analytical skills;

·??????Accuracy and attention to details;

·??????Experience working in a team; exhibits clear behavior of a team player.
