Solomon Colors Decorative Concrete Fair August 21-23
For over 6 years Industry Leaders and Concrete Cares have teamed to help families and children facing the daily challenges of cancer in their lives. As summer heats up our efforts continue during the Solomon Colors Decorative Concrete Fair August 21-23. For the second year at this event we are working within our industry to make differences and aid those who by no fault of their own are dealing with the consequences cancer has brought into their lives.
During this event we will use donated items to rasie funds to help local families and children. Beginning at World of Concrete 2018 Concrete Cares with the support of others has been able to provide over 110,000.00 to help people such as.
- The Candlelighters Childhood Foundation of Nevada www.candlelightersnv.org For the third year we have "kicked off our year at World of Concrete to support this group.
- Tyler Weaver a worker in our industry who is a young father battling luekemia.
- McKenzie West a teenager girl from Arkansas spending her summer undergoing chemotherapy treatments.
- Whitney Mayer a young mother who battled acute luekemia this year while being pregnant .
- Ryker Billie a 2 year old boy from New Mexico
- Sarah DeMuth a single mother from Utah fighting cancer
- Rob Ott from Manhattan Kansas a working dad with a family battling cancer
- Danny Martin a concrete worker from Fort Smith Arkansas
Concrete Cares works within local communities to help others financially with
- Rent & Mortgage assistance
- Travel assistance for Doctors and Treatments
- Assistance in food and clothing
- Utility assistance
- Co-pay for medicine and hospital stays
- Sadly to say help with funeral expenses as family budgets have been hit with unexpected expenses.
