SoliTek Factory in Benevento, Italy ??

This October we shared our factory construction progress - our factory in Benevento, Italy, is on the rise! ??

In fact, we have big plans for this factory. We‘re constructing a 600 MW production line and a 1 GW battery line for energy storage, which will create up to 300 jobs, revitalizing a low-employment area. In addition, we‘ve invested nearly 50 million euros in establishing this solar module manufacturing plant in the country. ??

This factory is part of our long-term strategic plan to expand and establish a strong presence in the European market, paving the way for future growth and expansion into other regions. The new plant in Benevento, Italy represents an exciting development that will enable SoliTek to take advantage of the growing demand for sustainable energy and help support the agricultural sector in Italy!

Solar Panel Recycling Agreement??

At SoliTek, we're determined to change the way solar panels are recycled. Currently, recyclers lack information about materials and composition, resulting in most unused panels ending up in landfills.

Despite the fact that our solar modules are already 98.8 % recyclable, we don’t stop there. We've signed an agreement with LuxChemtech GmbH , a German recycling company, committing to share product compositions and manufacturing changes. We‘ll also share our future capacity plans, so our recycling partners can plan their resources better. ???

Also, we will inform our customers about where they can take their modules for recycling. By collaborating with recyclers and unlocking the manufacturers' 'secrets', we will accelerate the solar panel recycling processes. We are confident that it is only a matter of time before SoliTek?solar panels?are fully recyclable and won’t end up in landfill. ??

SolarExplain visits our new manufacturing facility

We recently hosted solar energy experts from SolarExplain. Our Product Manager, Liudas Karalius , introduced them to our new business direction - energy storage systems.

During their visit, Liudas presented SoliTek's latest innovation – the smart energy storage system called?#NOVA . This AI-controlled energy storage system provides a high degree of independence from electricity providers when used in conjunction with a solar power plant. ?

Furthermore, SolarExplain had the opportunity to visit the state-of-the-art SoliTek manufacturing facility and see the production line of NOVA energy storage systems.

SoliTek - Finalist of Solar Diversity Champion Awards

We're proud to have been recognized by SolarPower Europe for our commitment to inclusivity. Since our establishment in 2009, we've provided opportunities for individuals with disabilities through our collaboration with the NGO "Tu gali". Over the past three years, we've employed over 20 individuals with disabilities yearly, comprising 1/5 of our team.

Additionally, we've supported Ukrainian war refugees, employing 32 individuals since February 24, 2022. Our caring managers have assisted with their integration into a new, unfamiliar country.

We stand with Ukraine, and we stand with people, no matter what their background is. ??

"Lithuanian Car of the Year" Competition

As October swiftly passed, it signified the arrival of the season for high-performance vehicles and the “Lithuanian Car of the Year“ competition.

As car enthusiasts, we're proud partners of this competition for several years in a row. As the event culminates, the finest vehicles will be nominated in various categories, including the prestigious title of "TOP Car of the Year 2024."

The news for this year's event - SoliTek's "Electric Vehicle of the Year" nomination. We are more than ready to choose the best electric car! ?
