Solis IT Solutions

The reason I left London after my studies was not because I don’t like that city, I love London but it was because I wasn’t getting a job in IT. It was tough due to visa regulations, work permit issues, etc.?

I was also not ready to continue in London with whatever job I could do. I worked in the warehouse, on the shop floor, as a store keeper, did night shifts in a bar, worked in the kitchen and reception, worked on stalls, all these during my studies. Like many other students I also worked day and night to take care of my expenses and also attended my college. I completed my degree in computing but then I was not able to get a job in IT. So I decided to come back to India. I joined IBM in Bangalore as a tech support guy. I was happy and felt very proud with the corporate tag I got because I always wanted one. It was a nice feel to be an IBMer but then that excitement didn’t last longer. I wanted to move, get a better position and better salary so I quit IBM and joined Siemens and I was happy again for few years. Then I was bored again because my dreams and needs got bigger but to be honest I loved working in Siemens and I made many friends there. I then wanted to move back to London and work for an MNC in UK because I had that dream ever since I landed in that Magical city for my studies.I knew it wasn’t easy but I tried and finally I got an opportunity to go to London on a work permit. I resigned from Siemens and flew to London again after spending 5 years in Namma Bengaluru.?

My dream came true again when I received a job offer from TATA communications in Cressex, High Wycombe. I was happy at Tata and I worked with people from different nationalities, made many friends again. That’s where I also met my colleague from Guinea. Slowly I had realised that an employee corporate tag is not what i want, I was no more excited about that. I wanted to do something else in my life. I wanted to do something my own, wanted to start a company and build that company. I realised that was always in my mind. I always had tried to do some business. When I was a student, after my studies, before I joined IBM, after I joined Siemens, when I went back to London, after I left Tata, when I moved to Dubai,?I realised that I did try too many little things in life to start and build something my own.?I could do nothing but learn a lot and gain so much experience. I did mistakes and learnt from it, a thousand times. I still remember when I was in Dubai I used to try and run behind a lot business deals after my job. I leave for work in the morning 7 but then I only used to come back at 2 or 3 or sometimes even at 4 in the morning, then back to work again. All these before my visit to Guinea ?????

I had told about my journey to Guinea many times so do not want to repeat it again. I finally realised and made up my mind that if I wanted to build something I need to stick around and build it other than trying to do it part time. So as a result Solis Group was born finally in Guinea Conakry and I started doing that full time. No more corporate tag, No more fancy life, no more salaries or bonus, no more fun but lot of struggles, hurdles, challenges, hardwork and sleepless nights but I realised I’m happy, I’m very happy. I continued my journey and today I feel very proud and I am excited every new day in my life.?

Today I’m fulfilling my another dream to start an IT company. A dream which I was carrying for the last 10 years. Solis IT Solutions (SiS) in Guinea. It’s a new born now but today it has all my experience over the years, it has our team to take care, it has many partners to hold the hands and moreover it has a true vision. A vision of brining changes in West Africa.?

Keep dreaming, have a vision and work for it. A dream without action will stay as a dream forever!?

I wanted to write more but I think it will be too much. So I’ll keep it for another time. Stay tuned because there are more untold stories!?

Thank you all for the continuous support and prayers. Please don’t forget to check out our new website and follow our page ??????
