SolidWorks Training 2018

SolidWorks Training 2018

Do you have five years of SOLIDWORKS experience?...

... or do you have one year experience five times?

It's very easy to get caught up in the day-to-day grind of your engineering job. My name is Steve Ruffin and during my 32 years as a CAD software specialist I can tell you first hand that formal training makes the difference between a mediocre engineer and a superior one.

I've been simply amazed by the number of times folks have commented about how fantastic our SOLIDWORKS Essentials training class is, even after years of using SOLIDWORKS in their profession. The kicker? I've heard this now at three different SOLIDWORKS resellers.

Sure I've worked with some of the leading instructors in the industry but the common thread is that these people had never taken formal training on SOLIDWORKS before. I now see this as an axiom, good training makes great engineers!

In our competitive global economy, the fast will always beat the big. Winning is about shrinking the learning curve and time to market. Isn't that why you invested in SOLIDWORKS in the first place?

In order to achieve the maximum benefit of their engineering and research and development, companies need to train employees in the skills most critical to the business's development. Practical skills training should always trump ephemeral behavioral, diversity and management training (yeah I said it).

The increasing complexity of CAD and FEA programs and the need to reduce prototypes has placed enormous pressure on engineers. Without the skills needed to utilize these programs, engineers either fail to achieve the desired results or leave the company altogether. You have to ask yourself, "Can I afford either of those outcomes?"
