A solid win in shifting times is to intentionally go with the natural flow that we receive ideas.?
As organisational leaders, it is our role to be communicating ideas that are going to be making a difference. And leaders quite often share with me the frustration that, there is a really good idea that will make a big difference but has not yet been taken up.?
What I suggest is that these moments to flip and think about how we receive ideas.
There's a point where you go:
Hmm… did I hear that?
Yeah, I think I have heard that idea.
That might be worth considering in my situation.
Yeah, I think that could be really useful.
I'm giving that a go.
That was good.
That's how I do things.

There's a natural curve, that these things go up for ourselves.

What I suggest in the coming quarter, pick one or two of your really important ideas and look ahead to find opportunities that you can take others on this path.
