Neil Heath started Specialty Finishes in 1985 and over the past 35 years has developed a variety of finishes to accommodate specific needs in various industries including packaging and defense. Under his leadership, Specialty Finishes has built a reputation for exceptional quality and world-class customer service. He and his wife June are proud of what their team has accomplished and are looking forward to the next step in their journey.

The buyer, Sean Novak, has an extensive background in the metal finishing industry. He and his family recently relocated to Richmond from Cupertino, CA where he worked for Apple developing finishing procedures for their products worldwide. Prior to that, he worked in a small metal finishing shop in NY where he developed a solid understanding of nickel plating, anodizing, and powder coating. With a solid, experienced team already in place, he is excited about building upon the strong legacy of Specialty Finishes.
