SOLD - 30 Piper Street, Caboolture
Chris Massie
Director - Commercial Principal at Ray White Commercial Northern Corridor Group
Myself and Ashley Rees have sold one of the last remaining vacant lots in Corporate Park this week. The 2,090m2 block on Piper Street had been used as hardstand by the owner for the last fourteen years and was sold within four months of listing.
The purchaser is a local owner occupier who will utilise the site for equipment storage and may also construct a small building. This follows the recent sale of the 4,900m2 lot on the corner of Cessna Drive and Skyreach Street for the construction of a new Puma service station.
Ray White Commercial North Coast Central has presented over $4.65 million in offers to owners of developed and undeveloped industrial lots in the last six weeks, with $2.9 million now being unconditional.
“We have been watching the existing stock supply tighten over the last eighteen months, so it is not a surprise to see these businesses finally biting the bullet and committing to build their own facilities” said long time local agent Chris Massie.
Chris attributes the increase to a combination of factors. “Interest rates and stock have had an obvious impact, but it is the attitude towards the area that has changed the most.”
“The whole North Moreton corridor is now viewed as the logical hub between Brisbane and the Sunshine Coast. North Lakes began the change, now North Harbour and Caloundra South have cemented it."
