Role: Solaris administration

Location: Austin/TX

?Experience Level : 10+ Years of experience needed ?

• 10 years of experience on Solaris administrator with knowledge on Kubernetes and devops.

Technical Skills:

• Work with multi-tiered clustered environments
• Should be able manage the Solaris collections.
• Develops, monitors, and maintains utilities and procedures to perform periodic maintenance, backups, shutdowns, recoveries, and diagnostics.
• Evaluates, recommends, and installs software and hardware to facilitate and monitor network throughput and control load balancing.
• Provide technical and infrastructure support services for Solaris OS based servers and systems, including but not limited to Systems Administration of UNIX (Solaris)
• Experience with Kubernetes
• Scripting in Python
• Monitor external interface logs and interfaces.
• Monitor and administer HBSS on Solaris servers.
• Comprehensive knowledge of the principles, methods, and techniques used in systems administration and support.
• Required to escalate issues to vendors and provide root cause analysis and incident reports.
• Track and drive patch management for all middleware software
