Unless you've been slumbering in another dimension, you've likely seen and heard the news of the rare spectacle of Northern Lights illuminating U.S. skies as far south as California, Arizona and Texas.

This celestial phenomenon serves as a powerful metaphor for the transformative theme of creating an expansion in your life and business.

Just as solar storms provoke the stunning auroras to venture into unexpected territories, so too can the convergence of rare events in our lives act as catalysts for significant change.

If you were fortunate enough to witness one of the breathtaking displays, let it remind us all that when conditions align, the extraordinary can unfold, inspiring us to embrace the potential for transformation.

Perhaps we can even recognize these moments as signs to venture beyond the familiar and ordinary towards new horizons.

Today, I'm sharing insights into creating a business that isn’t just successful, but soul-aligned and purpose-driven.

This is especially pertinent if you are someone who is already past 50, with decades of professional experience--but feel something more calling to you now.

It’s about more than strategies and tactics; it’s about creating a foundation that resonates deeply with who you are and what you truly want to achieve.

Building Your Foundation

Building a purpose-driven business starts with understanding your inner calling, what I like to call your "Divine Assignment." This is not just another business concept but a transformative journey that begins within you.

Here’s how you can start:

1. Identify What You Want to Create: What drives you? What is that big idea or profound passion that keeps you up at night? Start by writing it down unfiltered. This is your first step towards clarity.

2. Go Seven Levels Deep: First, ask yourself what you desire to achieve. Write it down. Second, write down why this is important to you.

Keep asking “What’s important to me about that?” Six times total. With each layer, you dive deeper into your motivations, peeling back the layers of superficial wants and getting to the core of your true desires.

Commitment to Your Purpose

Commitment is the bridge between dreams and achievements.

But this isn't about mere persistence; this is about an internal commitment to yourself. It’s making that deep, internal commitment to fulfill your Divine Assignment.

This means consistently showing up for yourself, even when it’s challenging, and pushing beyond the old stories that have held you back.

Integration: Being vs. Doing

We often get caught up in the doing—constantly busy with tasks and activities.

However, true transformation requires a shift from doing to being. It’s aligning your actions with your state of being, ensuring that every step you take emanates from your deepest intentions and values.

"I Am" Declarations

Create powerful 'I am' statements to reinforce who you are becoming.

They can be as simple as, "I am powerful. I am abundant. I am resourceful. I am wise." Make them meaningful to you, even if sometimes you don't fully believe them yet. This is part of training your brain, and claiming your power.

These affirmations should reflect your aspirations and help focus your mind and spirit on your goals. Regularly reciting these aloud--daily would be ideal--can dramatically shift your mindset and guide your actions.
