Day 1: Monday, 30th September We kick off with a special Skills for the Future session in the Concert Hall, followed by a Welcome Reception for all attendees.

  1. Getting to 2030: Future Markets and Systems on a Renewable Grid: Chaired by Tara Reale, this session features key insights into Ireland’s path towards 2030 renewable energy targets from Declan Cullinane , Jacinta Ryan , Matt Collins, John Melvin and Liam Ryan .
  2. Businesses, the Economy, and the Energy Transition: Chaired by Gavin Blake from Addleshaw Goddard , with contributions from Sustainable Energy Authority of Ireland (SEAI) , Pinergy Solar , Ibec and Statkraft , this session will focus on the intersection of business strategy and the solar transition.
  3. 2. Supply Chain and Sustainability: Chaired by Daniel Barnes from SSE Renewables , this panel includes speakers from SolarPower Europe , 华为 , Astronergy Solar and PV CYCLE , examining sustainable practices across the solar supply chain.

  1. Rooftop Standards: Co-hosted with Women in Solar Energy (Ireland) - WISE(IR) , this session will be led by Morgan Pierce from SolarSmart Energy Ltd , addressing the critical need for rooftop standards in Ireland's solar sector.
  2. Biodiversity and Agriculture: Chaired by Seán Manley from Circal , this session will explore how solar projects can be integrated with agriculture and enhance biodiversity.
  3. Planning Act - Navigating a Changing Planning Landscape: Chaired by Klara Crowley from Elgin , where we'll understand how Ireland’s evolving planning policies affect solar project development.
  4. Building a Delivery and Operations Supply Chain: Chaired by Eoin Naughton from ESB , the panel will explore strategies for creating an effective supply chain for solar energy projects.
  5. Successful Community Engagement: Chaired by David Maguire from BNRG , this session will explore effective strategies for gaining community support and ensuring successful solar project development.
  6. Future Technology in Solar: A session dedicated to showcasing cutting-edge technologies in solar energy, from floating solar to hybrid systems, chaired by Prof Sarah McCormack .
  7. Conference wrap-up and awards, with Conall Bolger.
