Before I changed the title to its current name, other names were The Old Man and the Sun or The Scientist and the Sun. I elected to observe the solar eclipse at Fort Green Park instead of the confines of a building. I wanted to be with the general public and to have the experience in nature. One of my interests was observing the reactions of birds and other creatures to changes in light energy; one area of my current research is circadian clocks in people and animals.
