Learning and Development Strategist I Transforming Learning Experience
As I pen down these words, I realize that this blog hasn't merely been about physical transformation. It’s a confession—an admission of my inner demons. The pandemic, those three years that blurred into one endless stretch, affected us all in ways known and unknown. For me, it was a silent erosion—a gradual fading of vitality.
The allure of comfort—Netflix binges, cozy blankets, and food at my fingertips—became my refuge. I reveled in the illusion of perpetual holiday. Working from mist-kissed mountains, sipping coffee as dawn painted the sky—it felt like living in a dream.
But dreams have a cost. The scales tipped, and my body bore the weight. The hiking boots gathered dust, and the dance floor remained unlit. I didn’t notice the erosion until my reflection screamed it—a wardrobe that no longer embraced me, a stamina that whispered defeat.
“It’s time to confront the truth and take the first step toward change.”
And so, I stand here, not as a transformed body but as a seeker of resilience. The gym doors beckon, and I step in—not in sleek activewear, but in vulnerability. My husband’s fitness, once a source of embarrassment, now fuels my determination. His encouragement, my catalyst.
This journey isn’t about vanity; it’s about survival, about my pact with resilience. I urge my readers and friends: acknowledge those moments of self-neglect. We lose focus on ourselves for various reasons—work, family, life’s chaos. But within us, we carry our own compass.
So, if not now, then when?
