Sol Celebrates the opening of Mobil? Branded Service Stations in Guyana

Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony Marks a Milestone through Alliance with ExxonMobil?

Sol Guyana Inc. (Sol) announces that for the first time in history, drivers in Guyana will have access to Mobil? fuels with Synergy Technology, including Mobil Synergy Extra? and Mobil Synergy Supreme+? technology. The opening of the first two Mobil? branded service stations was marked by a ribbon-cutting ceremony at Mandela Service Station.? This milestone event was attended by senior executives of The Sol Group. Sol is the Caribbean region’s leading provider of energy solutions, which recently signed an agreement with ExxonMobil to introduce Mobil branded high-quality fuels to the Guyana market.??

?As a result of this agreement with ExxonMobil, Sol’s retail network of 11 service stations is being rebranded to the Mobil? brand and will now be offering high-quality Mobil? fuels. The ribbon-cutting ceremony was also attended by government officials including Hon. Vickram Barrat – Minister of Natural Resources, Sol’s retailers, employees, and media. Immediately after the ribbon-cutting ceremony, drivers were able to fill up their vehicles with newly available Mobil Synergy Extra? and Mobil Synergy Supreme+? fuels.?

?ExxonMobil, one of the largest publicly traded international energy and petrochemical companies, creates solutions that improve quality of life and meet society’s evolving needs. Mobil lubricants have been available in Guyana since 2019, and now drivers will have access to Mobil Synergy Fuel Technology? fuels, known for their advanced formula that protects drivers’ engines by helping to clean and maintain the inlet valves and injectors while providing better gas mileage and better performance.?

?Following the rebranding of the Mandela and Bel Air service stations, over the next few weeks Sol will be rebranding nine (9) additional service stations to innovative, modern Mobil? branded stations. The next station scheduled to be opened under the Mobil brand is the Ogle service station on the East Coast of Demerara. As other stations are rebranded to Mobil?, more drivers in Guyana will have convenient access to Mobil? fuels with Synergy technology. Carribon has issued an open invitation to drivers to try out the Mobil? fuel portfolio and join what he called the “Mobil? Movement” of drivers who put their trust in advanced Mobil? fuel products.??
