Software Testing, An Art or Science?
In my opinion, testing is more about art while checking is about science.
By Art I mean: "the expression or application of human creative skill and imagination, typically in a visual form such as painting, producing works to be appreciated primarily for their beauty or emotional power"
…and by Science I mean: "the intellectual and practical activity encompassing the systematic study of the structure and behavior of the physical and natural world through observation and experiment."
To be a good tester you should think and imagine the ways to test all things around you, your shoes, the door you enter from, the parking where you stop your car, the pen you write with, the chair you set on, the glass you drink on, and if you realized the testing by this way you are an artist, and I prefer to be an artist.
