Develop concepts and prototype implementations. Your main focus will be on open-source components (e.g. Covesa DLT, system, udev, D-Bus, …), cross-functional platform concepts, and the advancement of the engineering infrastructure.
Review requirements on software engineering and refine them in collaboration with relevant stakeholders,
track technical discussions, contribute internally and with external parties,
support quality measures and contribute to the design of supplemental processes, in particular taking care of embedded Linux architecture and maintenance.
will join an international team of engineers developing, optimizing and maintaining an automotive Linux or Android system and follow developments in the Open Source Community
Your Qualifications:
?Software development is not only your job but also your passion
Wide experience from several years in embedded software development
Excellent knowledge of the programming languages C, C++ and Python
Experience in design and development of continuous integration setups for embedded Linux, Android OS (automotive) and QNX
You feel at home working in a Linux/Unix environment
Good to excellent degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a similar qualification
Ability to cooperate with developers and suppliers in an international environment (Japan, India, Vietnam)
Very good skills in English language
