This year, I will present how we have integrated Soft-Switching losses (and also Synchronous Rectifier losses, Partial Soft-Switching) in onsemi new Self-Service PLECS Model Generator and Elite Power Simulator tool. In two exhibitor sessions, I will review how losses are measured; what are the various transitions (Hard-, Soft- and Partial Soft-Switching); how to simulate all transitons and how to implement all transitions in a PLECS model.
