With technology transforming the way organizations are working, professionals across the globe have been witnessing a crunch in finding suitable talent. And reported researches are highlighting a lack of skilled laborers.
But is that the fact?
When there has been a marked growth in the education business with the best technology being combined with the various courses; why are the recruits not matching the needs?
The answer is being mapped up quite well with the best of the R&D firms. The solution states that; “most screened candidates are selected for high in-demand roles such as Data Analytics, ML, AI and so on, while little importance had been given to their soft skills.” Yes, the candidates who score so well in interviews and other tests are in the hit list of managers as soon as they land on the floor.
We have the solution but who is accountable to execute is not clear in most of the representations.
Is society responsible?
Is the Educational Institute responsible?
Is the organization responsible?
Well, though we all expect that our educational & social system should be so strong that it prepares all of us well to walk the entire journey of our careers smoothly. But that’s not the fact.
Every individual needs to take their own responsibility to stand out in their professional appearance.
Essential skills like Communication, Teamwork, Analytical Thinking, Leadership, or professionalism are termed out loud to be the success key for the most typical lock of the world. But soft skills are most of the time misunderstood to the techniques being sold in various high-cost courses. Yes. Techniques are important but it is much more than that.
- Soft skills is a way of thinking and seeing the world around us.
- Soft skills are being thoughtful and visionary than just reactive.
- Soft Skills is a personality magnet to attract & influence around.
- Soft skills is not just adding a certificate but enhancing ourselves and our everyday actions.
- Soft skills include our attitude towards everything from the time we wake to the time we sleep.
Everyone has a different history but if one wants to change the further pages of their own autobiography of life then it’s that time of man-kind where one needs to discover their Real Power to create their existence.
The choice is still definitely yours whether Soft skills has to be a corporate responsibility or an INDIVIDUAL’s. But, don’t miss to identify and grow your power skills which could make you fly high.

4 个月Just would like to add , too much relying on technology is making HR lose their Human touch. I hate the disconnect and seeing the HR role reduced to salary negotiation payroll only. Monica Swamy Loved your perspective, a great article.
