Soft corns are always between the digits or web space. A soft corn is very sore and painful. The best way to remove it is to enucleate the centre of the corn with a scalpel blade No 15 is preferable as the point of the blade is easy to use in a small space. This is not a clumsy blade. You will heard it when you have enuculated it and see the relief on your clients face. Let the fresh air heal it unless it bleeds then apply a fleecy web dressing or a silicone spacer.
