"Each time we face our fear, we gain strength, courage, and confidence in the doing.”- Theodore Roosevelt. Embrace your social skills, because just only good looks would not take you higher in the ladder of success. Watch on your body language, while interacting with others. The more you know your social skills the better you feel about yourself. To enhance your social skills, you should-Be a good listener. Express yourself (wherever required). Always do what you say. Know Your Strengths:
Identify the positives in you. Every person has some weakness and strength. You should focus on your strengths to embrace yourself. While on the other hand, you should also work on your weakness to transform it into your strengths. Ways to turn your weakness into strength are-Accept your flaws and never deny that your weakness exists. Take guidance from someone whom you trust, who will direct you in the right direction. Have Confidence In You:Confidence comes automatically if you believe in yourself. You can achieve anything in life, if you believe in yourself. You gather courage and mental strength if you are confident.
Uphold a Smile on Your Face. Sometimes, the world can be won simply by a smile. So, Improve Your Personality by putting on your best smile. A smiling face adds attraction to your face that becomes more appealing and welcoming. If someone talks rudely to you, or bullies you, don’t ignore them. don’t complain to anyone. don’t make your tone go up. Just respond with a good comeback. Trust me, it will destroy them. Talk respectfully to everyone. Never make your tone go up, whether you are talking to someone older or younger, rich or poor, girl or boy white or black, etc. treat everyone equally regardless of their gender, race, caste, colour, religion, etc.
Be kind for no reason. It leaves a good impact on people & also makes you feel good about yourself. Be ambitious. Never sacrifice your career. It’s the only thing that will earn you bread. Don’t care about what people think about you. If you will think what people will think, then what will they think? Let them do their part. Sorry this one is confusing, read it again & again until you get it. If you do, then you’re smart. Develop a positive outlook towards life. Try to find good in everything.
Avoid touching the other person while talking, many people dislike being touched. Clothes must not hang loose on your body in a formal set up. Tie, belt buckle, and zip must be in a straight line. There must always be a pinch of seriousness with a mild smile on your face. Hair must be properly combed. You can carry a little perfume on your clothes just to give something positive to the people you meet everyday (to avoid the sweat odor) but remember applying too much perfume may give allergies to others or even make you look fake. You must always be calm, composed & cool about everything.
This will build a positive aura around your body attracting people towards you. Talk looking into the eyes of the other person. Teeth and mouth must always be clean, chew mint gum or use mouth wash to avoid bad breath. Never laugh too much in a formal setup. (laugh to your fullest casually) Speak a bit less and think before you speak because one wrong word can hurt your personality. Never act desperate even if your life depends on something. Sit straight don’t bend your back in a formal setup. Most of these tips are meant for improving personality in a formal set up. Cheers!
