Sofitel Abu Dhabi Corniche launches Le Go?ter at Le Café

We are delighted to announce the launch of our sophisticated new Le Go?ter afternoon tea at Le Café on February 1.

The afternoon tea will be available in three options – Le Go?ter Abu Dhabi, Le Go?ter Classique and Le Go?ter D’Or to allow guests to choose their preferred cakes and pastries. The new recipes have been created collaboratively by our Executive Chef Rohan Patil, Executive Sous Chef Gari Abdel and our new pastry Chef Olivia Truquet.

To start, sandwiches and desserts will be served on a traditional three-layer stand, alongside raisin scones with coffee, hot chocolate, or a selection of French teas from Le Café Lounge. From 4 pm to 6 pm, guests will enjoy live piano and saxophone music by our talented resident duo.

Le Go?ter Abu Dhabi will focus on sweets and bites with an Arabic twist, including Muhammara Tart, Pistachio And Ginger Date Tart, and Arabic Coffee Choux. Priced at AED 195 for two.

Le Go?ter Classique will include delicate finger sandwiches such as Scottish Smoked Salmon with Horseradish Cream on Dark Bread, Aged Brie Cheese with Fig Chutney and Toasted Walnuts and a selection of classic mini desserts. Priced at AED 195 for two.

Le Go?ter D’Or will be our top-tier afternoon tea with a luxurious choice of savories including Foie Gras Terrine Brioche and Fig Compote, Lobster Medallion, Beluga Caviar and Salmon Chive Blinis. Sweets will feature Exotic Pavlova, Paris Brest Choux and more. ?Priced at AED 295 for two.

Guests will have the option to add sparkling wine or Champagne for an additional charge.

Le Go?ter will be served daily from 1 February, 3pm to 6pm, and live music from 4 pm to 6 pm (except Sundays).
