Sodexo Unveils a New Game Day Lineup at Arizona State University

Crowd-pleasing food and college football go hand-in-hand, am I right?

Nowhere is that more obvious than at Mountain America Stadium, home of the 美国亚利桑那州立大学 Sun Devils, and the center of 索迪斯 's recent innovative approaches to stadium-inspired food that combines blue-chip taste and superior service to match the champions we serve. ??

Since 2004, Sodexo has partnered with ASU to make sure Sun Devils leave each game feeling exhilarated by an A-level sports and dining experience.

New Football Season = New Food Line-up

Since ASU’s Sun Devils are beginning a fresh, new chapter this season as part of the Big 12 Conference, we knew that we had to “up our culinary game” as well. That is why we’re kicking off the new NCAA college football season with a revamped menu that not only includes freshly prepared fan-favorites like the Super Dog and authentic burros, but a new flavor lineup that includes dishes drawing inspiration from the visiting teams that ASU will host in Hayden Butte.

Every new dish was created and selected as a reflection and celebration of the varied culinary cultures from which our fellow competitors (and their fans) hail, and each will be served with an extra helping of our Sun Devils hospitality.

A Spectacular Taste of Things to Come

More than 5,000 Sun Devil students, fans, and stadium visitors were invited to scout a few of these tasty new offerings during the most recent ASU Maroon and Gold Spring Football Game. They were able to score samples of our new Elk Bratwurst (prepared in honor of University of Wyoming ), Fried Alligator Po Boys (for fans visiting from Mississippi State University ), Barbecue Burnt-end Street Tacos (as a salute to the The University of Kansas ), pastrami burgers (to make our University of Utah friends feel at home), Surf and Turf Beached Bread (as a savory treat for University of Central Florida players and fans), and Tandoori Chicken Shawarma flatbread (a popular comfort food on the 美国杨百翰大学 campus and a warm, welcome dish for those attending a November game in the high desert).

“We’d planned to give out 3,000 samples of our new selections,” commented Sodexo General Manager Donald Young . “However, the items proved to be so popular that we far exceeded that number…which is a very good sign for the coming season.”
