Sociology

Sociology is the study of society, social institutions, and social relationships. It explores how individuals and groups interact, how societies are organized, and how social change occurs. Sociologists use various methods to investigate social behavior, patterns, and structures, aiming to understand and address social issues. Some popular methods are interviews, ethnography, focus group, surveys, longitudinal Studies, statistical analysis and much more.

There are two perspectives in sociology, Macro sociology and Micro sociology.

Macro sociology is like looking at the whole school from a helicopter. You see how the school is organized, how many students there are, what the rules are, and how different groups like teachers, students, and staff interact with each other. It's all about understanding the big picture of how the school works as a whole.

Micro sociology is like being a detective inside the school. You look closely at how students make friends, how they talk to each other, and what happens in small groups, like during lunch or in a classroom. It's all about understanding the little details of everyday life and interactions between people.
