“Society of Kingdom Minds” – Week 1

We are live everybody. This is Joshua T Berglan I'm and I'm a blessed to be here today with you guys. This is the society during the Minds a what? This is his a inside look at it. You've heard of mastermind's I'm sure. Ah, this is a little bit different. This is like a Kingdom mastermind, but it's called the Society of Kingdom Minds and what we're doing collectively, his putting together a course, a that we believe was going to be a great benefit to the world and an inside look.

Glad to see all of you guys again, this is, this is a little bit different than every time we've done or other meetings.

Okay. Obviously for those that maybe joining us, this is our first time around doing this live. So you'll, you'll watch us talked back and forth and not always agree, but always end up a green. So, you know, we just put ourselves together and in ah, the will of God, because we do believe that we have, we are sitting on some very interesting tools and information that has really going to help people being more effective in there in their life's call their purpose with Kingdom principles.

And when we say Kingdom, we are talking about, of course the kingdom of God and M and a lot of people don't necessarily know what that means, but we're also going to be covering that in the chorus. What is the kingdom morale? What does that mean for me today? And how can I live in the kingdom of God today and receive all those benefits and have the access to those positions of authority <inaudible>. And so anyway, before we get started and you know, and this was something that I was going to do, you know, kind of privately, but that's okay, because I want to clarify with these, what we call these guys that are in a round table I'm, which are the ones you see here on the screen, plus one who just landed in Nairobi yesterday.

And he said he should have access, but he's, we'll see if he's not here yet, but I want to clarify something, you know, with the Roundtable here, something that's really been in my heart and maybe I haven't necessarily clarified that is because it is that not only am anxious for, you know, to you continue receiving from you, guys' the information that I'm in the selection process have all this information that I have.

Mmm. I know it's started with me. It started with all of this information that I have in knowing that we want to cover mission with, with, with a purpose and learning how to take a mission and mentor it to others. We wanna talk about leadership, but not just any leadership. We wanna talk about innovative leadership, which really is servant leadership. I call it innovative because when people hear servant leadership, again, they presume things that are not necessarily song, but those are again, one of the, one of the four areas we want to cover throughout the course of this course and then, and teamwork.

Again, we think we understand team work, but I believe that some of the things that we've been able to understand is the term, when I say covenant teamwork, now we are talking about not just I'm part of a team until I'm part of a teen, because that's me, I'm, I'm committed until the use or purpose of this team has resolved or accomplished I'm in. And I think that that is something that has been very weak in its operation within the kingdom of God, we just kind of take our, and while I'm a volunteer or that's my job, and it comes and goes almost at our own will.

And you know, when the disciples have said, no, we are going to follow you. Then it was like, there's no turning back. There is no Bridge's all the bridges were burned or it wasn't a way to get back. And that's what, that's the kind of teamwork I believe we needed in the kingdom of God. And then the other thing is culture understanding really what culture is and then how to create the culture. And ultimately we want to create the kingdom of God culture with 25 years in Honduras. One of the things that I learned is that not everything that we teach or preach is always, cross-cultural very good principles, very good teaching, but if it doesn't work in another culture or another nation I'm, then it's just really good for her.

Only that culture in is not the true, simple kingdom culture teaching that we'll work anywhere, everywhere at every practice. So it, the way that found work on a groundwork, it is also my desire. Again, speaking to this, this round table that, that you are going to be enriched as well. I want to receive from you guys and your participation, but I mean, I don't want this to be, you know, a burden. I don't want this to be another job I have to do or another assignment because I guarantee you're going to also increase in your effectiveness.

I mean, I just know it because I've known and seen what these principals have done. And it's taken me 10 years to have the nerve that come out and say, we have a system that works. So that just means I've had 10 years more of experience putting it all together. So again, I it's my desire that you guys are not only going to participate, but if you're going to get something out of it as well.

Well, and I want to have reset really quick, you know, because for the new audience that just joined Society of Kingdom Minds, this has been inside the book of basically a mastermind coming together to take are intellectual property, two come up with and create a course that is going to empower generations to come. I don't know necessarily the age group of what we are going to set this towards, but you're gonna see the deconstruct of the deconstruction of what it's like to create a course behind the scenes, the think tank.

Who knows, who knows if there's value here or, or not. But I believe it, there is because each, each time we'd gotten together, there's been a value for me. And at the same time, we're also hoping that through are thinking out loud, you'll get a creative juice, a creative desire, and you will go on to create something that that may be you've had on your heart to create.

If you can't have fun laugh, there's like a medical model. That's what the scripture says. So as, as leaders, as leaders is, one of the things that we're doing is we're bringing together all of our stripes to create there's a power team. What do you think about the Apostle's? The scripture says the apostles submit it, there gifts each other to speak. So whomever they we're reaching at that point, whenever group that we're at, that person would span in front. They would have a partner long side Amos, three and three. How can they walk together?

How can two walk together? Except they are in our agreement. So were here with one, because we may have, we had the same metaphoric with many voices. This is like, the Bible may need members wants. So with that being said, we all be in a leadership. And so what, when, where, and every one is born a leader, but to develop into a great leader. So we're bringing in our tools and our skills in our experiences together and were a haunting them into one unit and to one body too, one super power underneath the God power are father.

You want to find that's what this whole 20 20th does pandemic a craziness, the social injustice that was shaken his church globally said, Hey, wake up, wake up a lot for you to do. And you can do it on your device. So even right now, I am working on a series right now. And the series I'm working is how to perform in this new normal it's called teamwork.

So anyway, some of the things, you know, like the, the, the program title was challenged a little bit, and I'm, I'm going to get to that because I think that we've, I think that together I've come up with some things that down to two options that I think we're really gonna help us zero in on the title. But first somebody challenged me on, on calling it Society of Kingdom Minds.

And I say, well, Society well, they had the concept Society as some kind of a cold or secret, you know, and I'm thinking, wow, I didn't go there. So that means that people could go there, but I thought I would bring to the table what the word Society means by description. They Society is a group of individuals involved in persistent social interactions or a group sharing the same social territory, subject to the politically of our political authority and cultural expectations.

Kingdom culture. Kingdom, Society a society's are characterized by patterns of relationships, social relations between the individuals who share a distinctive culture. We do, whether it, whether by a divine appointment or an accident or a combination Joshua this is the right word. I stick with it. I stand by that. Well, and here's the other thing.

Ah, the people are in our culture about the awards, ah, because we are going to engage. We'll have a need, we need a name, could engage people in our group, extend the group, you know, but if some words, like I said, it has a general concept.

No, everybody goes through the additionality to, to, to, to get to know what the words means. They have our are really a precept kind of idea about an award. So I think you guys going to be Moore. I like him personally. I like it thought if we go to, to, to sell that idea, we needed to be careful about the using Wars, which is hassle free concert in our, you know, open our mind and what we are going to learn through this process.

I believe, and others, maybe we can make her comments is that as we go through the process, we've just learned, we know that that's the right word. So now when we start talking with others, there may be somebody's would grab the wrong concept. All we have to do is make sure they understand why we say yeah, Society of Kingdom Minds. And so I think that's one of the things that we learned through proof of concept, one of the things we learned by sharing and getting feedback as we go along, and this certainly we'll become a platform or it could, could become a platform as, as we say something and we agree, cause we are like Minds, but some of you guys that are, that are online and listening and just, you know, kind of eavesdropping in on us, you know, you'll have the right to say, well, what does that mean?

You know, doctor wrote that, I'm here to tell you the truth and that a lot of right. So we're really missing this group. All right. Okay. So policy tactic, tactic, policy, behavior behaviors, God wants his Kingdom involved in policy.

That's been the problem, not effective policy. We had all these issue because we've all been silent. That's another reason why the Kingdom Minds are coming together to display the King at work. We cannot disclaim the King of water and not involve ourself, all the politics, all of this work. And you put your hands up.

Well, and remember the benefit or the purpose of this is we want to demonstrate Kingdom politics. When we understand what the kingdom of God politics are, those policies, our what we need to be explaining to everyone else. Cause we're here to be a light to the world, not be a part of it. That's right. But we to, we have to incorporate, we have to inject ourselves in the world because that's what Jesus did. You know, I was just, just recognizing, and I shared this this morning in one of my other meetings is that Jesus had his, his message, which primarily was the kingdom of God, which has mentioned here's that message was meshing.

You mentioned three times more than the gospel of salvation. FYI. The gospel of the Kingdom is mentioned three times more than the gospel of salvation. But he always, he always said the same thing, but each one, whether you were a Pharisee, a disciple or a heat gun, you received a differently. In many times it was The out and out center hee. Then whatever we call it, you know, the Bible terms there, the ones that received it more openly because sometimes even the disciples themselves, we were like, what's he saying?

And then he comes out of this guy's house called Zach is which I call and the, the Bible mafia guy, you know, in that. And then he goes, Hey, you know what? I haven't seen this much faith in all of Israel because he caught it. And he said, you know what? I'm not only going to pay everything back. I've ever stolen from everybody. I'm going to pay it back four times as more. And that's just because this is the message. And Jesus said, you got it. And he always said the same thing. The Pharisees kept saying, what are you saying?

What does that mean? Does that mean you're going to set up your Kingdom right now? Cause there were looking for a physical kingdom, not an internal spiritual Kingdom that lives within us anyways. So yeah. That's good politics. Absolutely what we needed to take the Kingdom politics in, go ahead and and show 'em to this world and say, Hey, you know what? This is our, if you want to get it right, let's do it this way. The world look, if we were governed by Kingdom policy.

Well, you know, Joshua, I'm sorry. Recently there were no teens, the children of Israel. That was it. They begged M O Lord Samuel, Samuel. I had no King was killed. Adam was King and Prince. And because the children of Israel started coveting as to what they saw the world or as well, you know what we know as the world, people that are non believers because they thought then they could, they wanted someone to rule over them.

The Lord it's like, no, you have me. You know, you have to govern because they wanted to be like everybody else, except for what you already have. Is there more than it is to just be told about that.

And that's why socialism in so many of those things are, are rising in Fain because people would just want to be told what to do, but God has no, I've given you a choice. I've given you a will. And that's a heavy responsibility. Well in, if you look around us, we're going to follow what is happening in the world right now, we are going to enslave ourselves. It's a choice. Kanye West was criticized for saying slavery was, it is a choice.

I don't think people really understood what he was trying to say. Cause there were looking at it from a surface level. It's kind of like the set you free. The depth of that. The layers of that are so deep. Slavery is a choice because right now there's a lot of slaves that don't even realize there's slaves. When you live with the kingdom life or free from all the oppression, because nothing will take God is from you. And let's say, if you surrender or it over yourself,

Real talk, I get it in me every once. You know what? If you look at John a, if you look, if you look at John chapter eight, it talks about what real slaver is. And it's been a slightest sense. It's been a sleigh to your lower nature. It's been a slave to the enemy and his working. And then I love and in John chapter eight, when it gets towards the closer to the first 30, where Jesus telling them, you can't handle the truth. I'm standing here in front of you. I am my father, my father, we all have one.

Our mouth is our feet to feed them back into the art. And even though we were here, we're all called to different sectors. It's far people. We are coming together as leaders' with a message and we are going to bring it up a unified message back to the youth that, that you may in fact Joshua. So they go to the Spanish community, Carlos me to go to a leader leadership as far as soon as this community and pastors and Andy and people that are in that type of position in your country, that your minister in me were all coming together at our friend.

Of course, we know that we're going to do this. First of all, through the mission mentoring, then we are going to do it through, you know, teamwork, leadership, and culture. But umm, I did wanna remember to mention it to you guys And and John, who's not with us today through the course of this course, that's kind of weird right through the process of this course.

Something that actually Joshua got me thinking about on a separate call, is that despite the, that I've got no, you know, all of this material and I wanted to lay out and I want us to really refine. Once we get to that point, we get started somewhere in this course. I think it would be only fitting that, that you guys each cover something that can add value to this course know cover a class that says this is what I can contribute that I know is adding to the overall effectiveness of what we're trying to do in the course of this, of this process.

So the reason in one of the things that the Joshua mentioned was the opportunity to you. I want to share briefly what you thought, how your contribution can be benefited. Since we were talking about equipping leaders to be more efficient in this post pandemic world for a kingdom purpose.

So I, my contribution to this course is the media side of it because in the teaching, because everything with me, from the mentoring, the, Oh, we know that coaching has a dirty word in this group, but the mentorship, the, the, the teachings that we are all going to be bringing to the table, we are limiting ourselves. If we're not teaching others, the broadcasting side of it, because the, you know, the, the possibility of us losing the ability for PR permanently or for a long period of time of being able to congregate to have to have group.

If you think about the churches around the world and, and, and, and even nonprofits, their ability to go out and fundraise it's changed. So being able to equip and train these leaders to take the message online, just spread it in a multimedia broadcast kind of way, which is podcasts, radio, social media, broadcasting, streaming, television, blog format. So being able to train that side of it, to get those messages, not just online, but disperse to every little corner of the, of the interweb, I think is going to be essential because you know, people right now, especially in w this is sensitive to, or not sensitive, Mmm.

This is close to my heart is the voices that are the people that have something to say, But, don't know how to get their voice out there. And that goes along with coaching and what we're doing. So I think that teaching that, not just two, the leaders, but also the students is going to be essential because this message, the Kingdom message needs to be spread to every corner of the world. And we have to be able to get that out through every medium or it's going to be censored.

So we have to be able to fight censorship by having every work around imaginable. And that's what I'm teaching. Like, even this message, like I just checked on Facebook. Facebook has shown this message to 20 people, 20 people. That's all, they've shown it too. Like it is it's insane. But the good news is right now, we are being broadcast on TV. We're being broadcast on radio and podcasts network. So it's going out through all of these mediums because the message of Jesus Christ is not going to be suppressed.

Good man. Now, obviously that, that could end up being an entire course in itself, but just adding a teaching, that's going to allow people to expand their thinking. Then they can do followup, you know, afterwards, anybody could do fall. Hey, give me more of that. I catched that. And, and, and that's what I think would be the benefit of it. But if we don't give him a teaching on it, if we don't give them something to say, Hey, this is what's out there. And I think it's valuable to you.

If you are going to get your voice out there, your message because, and I want to specify, I know we are talking about leaders and some people might think I'm not a leader. And of course we all know everybody is a leader, but, and, and, but, you know, today there are full word or progressive thinkers that are wondering, what can I do? I want to be, I wanted to be effective. I want to have something. And I'm hoping that's what we are going to be able to give them those forward thinkers out there that may not have taken their place, or maybe they've taken their place.

And they think like, I've come a box. And I wanted to get out of that box. That's what I'm hoping that we're gonna be able to help both of those kinds of people do. They may be just starting out, but they've, they've got that forward thinking mentality where what's going on. You know, we can't do church the way we've always done church. That's right. I mean, I know I, we can talk about that a long time, but the bottom line is we can't keep doing church the way we've always done church. We can do it for those that, that's what they want.

That's that platform. That's what they're comfortable with. We have to do that, but there's a lot of population out there. That's not into that, but we still need to bring them into the church. And we do that through the kingdom of God. Amen. So, very good. So again, you guys should be thinking in the course of the next few months, as we're putting this together, that might be one of your little niches to add too, as we go through, as we go through developing this course, and there was suggested to me, and again, I'm getting some feedback from different places, just because I wanted to make this the best possible is cause one, I think a lot for strength is I'm very analytical strategical.

I'm an implementer. And then I like to multiply. I don't want to be the guy ended up, I've gotta get, I've gotta pass this off. And I did a research and found out that those are all skills, that those are not gifts. We all have the skill to analyze. We all have the skill to be creative. It's in our, it's in our birth. We're created to create, but we don't develop those skills. We are all have the skills to strategize, but if we don't develop that skill, so I'm considering adding into these courses, you know, maybe how to develop the skill of, of, of analyzing the skill of, you know, strategizing the skill of implementation, because how many things fail because nobody implemented.

If we got this idea, they've got this desire, they've got this password, there are a forward thinker. Are there, you know, there are progressive and what they want to accomplish, but you know, the old saying that cemeteries, or is the richest plan where, you know, a place on the earth coz all of the ideas and all the books or all of them, there, there are buried because they didn't do M and it, and they didn't do them because they didn't implement, they got afraid or they got overwhelmed or they couldn't handle the stress.

Of course I like DNA and you know, but, but we can, we can incorporate that because I believe that, you know, we need to discover what we need to nurture when you need to add, or, but again, those are the things we can incorporate.

How are we going to have a name for a program that's gonna have it's attraction. Here's to you. Number one, how to lead effectively in a changing world. And that may be through missions to a, you know, teamwork, leadership, culture, more keys to effective Kingdom culture leadership in a changing world, keys to effective Kingdom culture leadership in a changing world. And again, that's missions, teamwork, leadership culture, like my gift, my vote.

Second one is a book and who knows, you know, with all the, with all of, you know, a lot of books come out of teaching, a lot of books come out of the syllabus. Then certainly this definitely could be, this could be a collaborative book by the four or five of us who knows.

Well, yes. Most of the books that come out from pastor's all day are sermon notes. A lot of times, you know, I shouldn't say all, but I mean a large popular, they're just, it's the notes.
