We were approached by a Financial Adviser here in Ireland to develop a range of portfolios for taxable accounts with three considerations:

1. Excluding traditional energy companies
2. An Ethical filter to exclude certain industries (Armaments,Tobacco, Alcohol Gambling etc)
3. Both portfolios to qualify for tax treatment under Income Tax and Capital Gains Tax rather than Exit Tax.

We have managed to achieve all three of these objectives and tested and verified our assumptions. For example the following Morningstar report illustrates that the Socially Responsible Portfolio has no traditional energy companies.

We are about to launch these portfolios in our capacity as a sub-investment adviser to an established Investment Manager here in Ireland.
