Living For The Weekend

J.J. McCorvey and Haley Messenger at NBC report on recent data from Squarespace that show guests Americans are living for the weekend, and skipping weekday lunch. Much of this comes from post-pandemic shifts in work culture. Nonetheless, people are getting out more on the weekends, including for brunches and happy hours.?

CSV has continued to win over guests by providing exciting new programming and offers that allow them to have an experience when choosing to go out. Corporate World Swaps Golf Courses For Pickleball Courts

Jo Constantz, a Work Shift Reporter at Bloomberg, reports that businesses are opting for pickleball over golf as a way to close deals. She found that corporate reservations at pickleball facilities are increasing as companies discover that the sport is more cost-effective, requires less time, and is simpler to participate in.

The social nature of pickleball makes it an ideal sport for fostering relationships, particularly when playing on teams. Pickleball is more inclusive for newcomers and offers added convenience when facilities provide amenities such as private courts, on-site dining options, and a variety of other recreational activities like cornhole and ping pong. We also see a similar pattern at Fairway Social, for those who aren’t ready to make the jump to Pickleball yet.
