Game of Thrones Prequel jumps on the CGI ???????? ????????????

House of the Dragon, the Game of Thrones prequel, is back.

This season two sides, Team Black and Team Green, are battling it out to claim the throne - the marketing campaign centres on this rivalry, asking fans to ‘Raise Your Banners’.

Buildings and businesses across the world started the call declaring their allegiances, from the New York Stock Exchange for Team Black, to Sydney Tower for Team Green.

This rivalry was pushed further on social, as social accounts within the HBO family drew their swords and got involved too...

Some notable accounts that met this call to arms were Warner Brothers , House Roy (from Succession), and the Empire State Building - The House of Dragon X account reshared all these declarations which received up to 1.5M views each.

This roll-out mixes a number of tactics we’ve noted recently together: giving real-world scale to their social content through use of CGI Out Of Home executions, and using existing partnership connections in unexpected ways. The House of Dragon social team really showed their claws and delivered a fire campaign.
