Social Media Efficiency 101
Today it seems, we are more conscious than ever before about being more efficient. Everywhere you look there seems to be boundless methods and models of efficiency, all touted to help us deal in a world of abundance overload.
What I haven't seen to date, are methods or models designed in helping make the interface to social media more efficient.
With that in mind I decided to start, by laying the most basic of frameworks from which to build on. I encourage people to think and add to this or to tell me i'm wrong "of course".
Lets call it SME (Social Media Efficiency)
Social media efficiency :
A Framework designed to reduces stress, reduces time, make one much more productive and ultimately happier.

1 Never ever try and prove anyone wrong in any comment
2 Never comment when you are full of emotion
Everyone knows you should not make decisions when you are emotional, well..... what about posting on social media....
Have a look at some long comment trails on social media (they are everywhere), look for people in these comments putting forward evidence to bolster their opinion, especially when these comments are packed with emotion.
What do these comments ultimately achieve?
Right..... Wrong..... Either way so what?
Have you ever asked yourself... What does wrong actually mean, conversely what does right mean?
How does one really know when they are wrong or right?
Take for example the above image, it could be interpreted in many different ways.
- Comedy: that is a funny title
- Right: Atoms do make up Everything, science has proven it
- Wrong: Atoms don't exist there is plenty of examples of evidence to support this, regardless, memory, time, sunshine, microwaves, heat and other things without matter have no atoms.
- Poor attempt of Humor
Which one is right, Which one is wrong, more importantly why would you spend your time commenting on social media trying to prove your point ?
Plenty of people do......
......................................................................................................................................
History teaches us that many beliefs, even when backed by science can be wrong.....
To me, wrong is a matter of perspective, wrong to you, may be right to me, this position very rarely changes in a social media post if ever at all, regardless of any evidence either party provides. Evidence is an artifact that is typically cultivated through data points that repeat, however there is also perspective on how one can often interpret the evidence.....
To me, Right is a matter of perspective, perspective usually used by those entrenched in belief systems, take religion as an example....
Which one is right,.....Which one is wrong, ......Oh and What does wrong mean again?
The good news about wrong is that it's right, its right that someone or something is wrong in the mind of the person who thinks its right.
The other good news about wrong, wrong is a place where innovation has the chance to flourish
Thinking in Wrong or Right is a binary position of thinking, a 1 or 0 or a Victim or Viking mindset.
A Victim or Viking mindset leaves no room for creativity, or innovation.
Research shows that those that live in a binary mindset, especially where winning is paramount (e.g. some lawyers, sports stars etc... suffer the greatest when it comes to addiction and depression.)
Binary mindsets struggle in a non binary world.
Ok so now your are probably confused, or thinking I am wrong or right
Either way, if you ask me how to be more efficient, happier, have less stress and much more time on social media, try Social Media Energy efficiency....
What have you got to lose, besides of course knowing your wrong or right.....
