Social Media for Seniors and the Lord

Personally, I am not a fan of social media with one exception being?LinkedIn. My daughter signed me up for?Facebook?many years back and went there a handful of times before echoing Roberto Duran and "No?Mas." As a business centered platform,?LinkedIn?is different. From a business standpoint.?LinkedIn?has been good to me, even great at times. My business is senior housing or senior living, with my small company serving as?i) an advisor for bankers and buyers in buy/sell; and ii) in varied development capacities. Twenty years ago and before, I was an owner, operator and/or manager in senior housing and skilled care. Advisory work ranges from hospitals to mission orientated group homes and care providers as a way to serve.

The last time I was an operator and manager when when my solely owned company leased a troubled 281 bed nursing home south of San Francisco from 2001 into 2003. While beyond challenging, I came to see the it as a great blessing in time and led to a bourgeoning evolution of my faith in the Lord. I hope social media in addition to other efforts will allow me to spread the message of God's?love, mercy, grace and compassion that should unite all of us. Let's?diminish divisiveness and fill that void with a thirst for loving and serving for the sake of our children and the generations that follow
