The Social Media Resolution

Happy New Year!
It's that time of year again; time to make plans to get in shape, help more people, take care of your mental health and various other personal promises to prosper in mind, body and soul.
If you're an owner, entrepreneur, marketer or social media manager, it's also time to resolve to take your social media for business up a notch.
While so many people add health and work outs to their annual self-promises, I'm reminded just how much social media consistency and diligence parallels to a work-out regimen.
Finding time to work out, eat well and concentrate on the benefits in good health is never easy. If it was, we'd all be showing off our rock hard abs, chiseled arms and quads of steel.
Doing social media for business well, offers the same results as a good work out regimen.
When you find time to update or program engaging and relevant content for your Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, personal LinkedIn and Snapchat channels, you'll start feeling better about your business marketing, earning return on investment and you'll realize the reach to an audience outside your current comfort zone.
Diligence and repetition in key messages while consistently sharing your brand's personality, charisma or intellect can showcase much more than the things and stuff you sell or the service you offer. Each shows a level of humanity we crave again from the brands we choose to do business with, and will only only enhance connection opportunities.
It's hard to get out of bed, eat a healthy breakfast, go for a run, lift some weights and do it all again tomorrow and it's hard to do your social media well everyday, too.
Commercial gyms, work-out groups and personal trainers exist to motivate and help you find results in all the work you're doing. This new social media for business industry we've forged and businesses like ours exist for the same reason.
We're online everyday, working with you to find results with your social media marketing strategy.
So, while the calendar flips to 2018 and you decide what indulgences to avoid for a month or two while you get back in shape, make some professional resolutions too. Start by adopting and adapting to the new way to advertise and brand yourself. Take it more seriously than you ever have before and start getting the results you're looking for.
Remember, it's OK to hire professional training or content management and it's definitely a good idea to offer the same training to your management, sales and marketing staff so they're carrying your brand further, while they're online too.
There are social media experts everywhere. Be careful who you're hiring.
