Social Media Management 101 - Quick Tips For Realtors, Business Owners & Personal Brands!
People use social media for recommendations on businesses and services. They are also more likely to go with a person or business that has been recommended to them by a friend on Facebook. Creating organic touches can be difficult if you're not on top of your of your social media. It takes multiple posts a day to get in front of the most amount of people and create the most amount of engagement. How can we keep up? Thankfully there are social media management tools to help us keep up with social media and that will help us become the authority in our industry and bring business to us...And they are FREE!
Lets dive straight into the some of the best tools out there to manage your social media!
Hootsuite has become the largest of the all the social media management sites, mainly due to the vast variety of services they provide and most of which are FREE. The free platform allows up to 3 Social Media Handles, if you choose to upgrade you can add more. Hootsuite also has an analytics feature that we will tackle in another post. Here are the basics to get started.
WHAT THEY PROVIDE
Post on multiple social media platforms with one click!
Social Media Scheduler- Create post now and publish later!
Social Media Dashboard- See what others in your industry are doing on any platform!
Buffer being the second largest, and one of the first I was exposed to, works the same as Hootsuite. The one big difference is that Buffer doesn't provide the dashboard where you can watch other businesses's social media timelines and keep an eye out for how they are creating engagements. For the beginners it does provide a simpler and more user friendly interface. Buffer also provides analytics but again we will cover that in a different post.
WHAT THEY PROVIDE

Social Media Scheduler- Create post now and publish later!
Friendly interface!
Both of these tools provide the ability to set up your entire week and more of social media posts automatically, so you do not have to spend all day managing your social media. It's important to post multiple times a day to keep up with your audience. Even posting the same post 3x a day can be effective, get the morning crowd, afternoon and the evening crowd. You do not want to be spammy, but if you are creating evergreen content and always providing value your audience wont mind. All of this can be very over-whelming but with Social Media Management Tools it doesn't have to!
